Going on a Bug Hunt

So excited to have my handmade items in a local toy shop's window display (www.itstoytime.co.uk). The theme is Going on a Bug Hunt so I made tree stumps, bugs, banner and grass trimmings.

Sneak Peak of Window Display

Sneak peak at my current project. It's for a new window display in It's Toy Time in Swindon.
This is the result of 5 hours of hand embroidery. I'm so excited with this project and can't wait to show off the final window display.

Upcycled Floor Cushion

This oversized cushion started life as a duvet cover. I've made my cushion 75cm x 65cm but it can be any size you like.

How to make an upcycled floor cushion

What you need:
Duvet Cover
Back Fabric
Stuffing
Sewing Machine
Simple Sewing Kit

1. Decide what size you want your floor cushion and add 1cm for seam allowance.   Cut out the desired size from the duvet cover making sure you have the  required picture in the centre.
2. Cut another piece of fabric the same size from your back fabric choice.
3. Pin right sides together. Sew around the pieces leaving a gap for turning.
4. Turn right side out and stuff. Sew gap closed.
